He is a traditionally trained physician, but found the medical community's treatments for his illness lacking, so he developed his own. Would you possibly be interested in writing something about the book on your blog? I'd love to give you an advanced copy if you're interested. It's out November 10.

Thanks so much for your time.

Sincerely,

Alex Granadosalexghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15389187782783661171noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4331818902777298686.post-69186187953602383842014-09-14T12:36:37.835-07:002014-09-14T12:36:37.835-07:00Sorry about your experience in Dallas. Not ALL gastro,s are knowledgeable re: type tests, kits, etc. Having negative tests results does not preclude future positive tests. Going gluten free without being adequately tested is not recommened & can be harmful. I was originally misdiagnosed with IBS, which turns out to be Celiac & has wreaked havoc with health & purse. All health issues started to improve after some villae healing started after being gluten free for about18-24 mos.Still have issues that will probably never resolve because of mis 7 delayed diagnosis. Best wishes on your health journey.
Evonnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4331818902777298686.post-33095891958196583742013-09-22T18:55:43.132-07:002013-09-22T18:55:43.132-07:00Hi, where a re you? I do have one doctor who I appreciate and admire because he has really tried to help me and is not just a pill pusher. I would agree with mitochondrial dysfunction, yet I also agree that it is technically not the adrenals, but the hypothalmus that gets out of whack (but the adrenals are affected). Yet, supplements still seem to be the main solution for alternative practitioners, just as mainstream doctors prescribe pills too. The problem can be that so many of us with these conditions don't detox all that well, and both supplements and p.drugs have to be detoxed by the liver. I have had the best results from altering my diet and lifestyle, with some key supplements assisting, of course. I really admire you for going to that extent, seems such a shame to have had it fall flat. Have you tried writing a letter to them about it? August had a fantastic article on "Fibromyalgia", I hope that you do your best to find this article even if you go to the Pharmacy and ask how to get the article or contact Walgreens on their website. I live in Houston area and have a Neurologist, Rheumatologist and they are fantastic. Fibromyalgia is an illusive illness with many side effects. Sorry to hear you are having problems. Some of these clinics are a bunch of junk science. Stress will increase your problem and IBS is part of Fibromyalgia. You will have to learn to avoid certain foods. I agree about finding a hard time getting good medical care in southern California. We lived there for a year, it was hellish on my husband and he just got sicker and sicker. We moved back to MN, changed up all his meds and he got better quickly. I'm curious why, during your hospitalization, they didn't try putting in a new PICC or other semi permanent IV line if all of them were getting infiltrated? That is very poor quality of nursing care. Looking forward to reading more, thanks for sharing!
